I had 12 years of work experience as an architect. When I was working as an architect, I led teams to design complexes, schools and condos. I managed more than 100 projects across the world while working in Seoul, Korea and Troy, Michigan. Working with a variety of people and environments, I developed the ability to be someone who is comfortable working with anyone.

My interests in coding originated from my youngest son. He started learning coding from one of our neighbors. He really enjoyed coding, however, our teacher became too busy to help him. I taught myself how to code so that I could teach him. Along the way, I fell in love with coding as well because it encourages creativity and logical thinking, both traits that I also loved using as an architect. At first, I thought programming was somewhat boring. But after I learned more about coding, it was actually really fulfilling and fit to me.
I want to be a software developer because it gives me a chance to use my creativity. At first, I thought
programming was somehow boring. Originally I thought software developers were just sitting in front of the
computer just writing code or doing just super boring stuff. But after I learned more about coding, it was
actually really creative.
